Course Credit

Tech Prep Academy participants can earn credit for successful academy completion.  It is your responsibility to secure credit and arrange for credit to be applied towards your vocational certification/licensure.

Continuing Education Units

• The College Tech Prep Summer Academy has been approved for 24 hours of in-service professional development.
   

• Letters documenting attendance will be available at each Academy site for Local Professional Development Committees.

University Credit

• Three quarter hours of college credit can be earned for completion of the College Tech Prep Academy and follow-up work.
   

• Credit is based on participation in the three-day academy (including 23 contact hours and 10 hours follow-up).
   

• Credit is awarded by the University of Cincinnati through its Economic Center for Education and Research.

Vocational Certification

To determine whether credit for the College Tech Prep Summer Academy can be applied towards vocational certification, contact the institution where you are pursing certification/licensure.
