How Do I Start? College
Tech Prep programs are offered in high schools,
career centers and colleges throughout Ohio. While
some students explore College Tech Prep in 9th and
10th grade foundation classes, most students begin
as high school juniors.
Be prepared to take algebra II, geometry,
chemistry and physics, along with other required
academic courses in preparation for engineering
technologies, information technologies, or
health technologies.
Considering enrollment?
Program registration generally begins during the
second semester of the sophomore year.

Take advantage of open houses, careers days and
summer camps hosted by partner colleges and high
schools.
