Consortium Committees
Consortia and state staff members serve on
committees focused on statewide collaboration and
resource sharing. Current work plans include:
Leadership
-
Identify strategies to improve College Tech Prep
effectiveness.

Facilitate communication between consortia,
state and other key stakeholders.

Investigate and examine trends and initiatives
that move pathways forward in Ohio.
Data
-
Work with ODE and OBR to improve data collection
and reporting.

Develop state and consortia reports for program
improvement, accountability and marketing.

Train consortia staff, as needed, on data
collection, analysis and reporting.
Dual Enrollment
-
Study the feasibility of expanding dual credit
opportunities for Ohio students, and discover
how College Tech Prep could be the catalyst for
this change.

Research dual enrollment policies in other
states.

Provide data analysis on Tech Prep dual
enrollment opportunities and barriers.

Represent Tech Prep interests on Ohio state
committees studying dual enrollment.
Marketing
-
Assist the state in developing a coordinated,
state-wide marketing plan.

Develop Tech Prep brand marketing materials that
can be adapted to consortia use.

Foster collaboration among consortia in sharing
marketing/public awareness projects.

Provide training on effective marketing and
public strategies and materials.
