Mediasite System Requirements
In order to view lectures or presentations via the
Internet, you will need a high-speed Internet
connection such as cable, DSL, or a T1 line.
Javascript should be enabled in your web browser as
the default.
Testing Your Computer
To find out if your computer is capable of viewing a
Mediasite Video,
click
this link to view the presentation link
by the instructors and if it works you will have no
problem for the course.
If you are unable to view the sample
presentation, review the system requirements and
follow the steps for configuring your system. If you
are still unable to view the Mediasite sample
presentation, you may not be able to take a course
using Mediasite.

or Windows Vista

Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or later or Firefox
2.0 or later

Macs:

Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later

Microsoft Silverlight 1.0 or later

Display resolution of 800x600 pixels or more

Broadband Internet connection (300Kbps or more)
NOTE: Firefox 3.0 Requires Microsoft
Silverlight 2 Beta 2. The first time you access a
Mediasite presentation on a Mac you may be asked to
download a Microsoft Silverlight plug-in. Please
follow all of the instructions for installing this
plug-in on your Mac. If you are not automatically
directed to download the plug-in on your Mac, you
can download the plug-in from the
Microsoft Silverlight site. Try viewing
the sample
presentation again.
