Course Requirements
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills (downloading/saving documents,
viewing power points and videos on line, opening
links) are needed to work in an on-line course
environment.
If
you do NOT have these skills, please work with your
school’s technology staff before beginning the
class. Experience with on-line learning is helpful,
but not necessary. Participants will learn these
skills as part of the one-day meeting.
Course 1: Designing and Managing a Quality Tech Prep
Program: Requirements
Participants will:

Complete Essential
readings/videos
-
Develop a Program
Management Plan for implementing their Program
of Study, Curriculum/Articulation activities etc
-
Participate in weekly
discussion board.
Option for individualized
instruction after completing their Management
Plan.
CEU credit
2.4 CEU credit hours (24 hours) for completion
of above requirements
College Credit
For 3 quarter hours:
-
Develop an expanded Program
Management Plan
-
Complete Essential and
Recommended topics within the chapters
(including pre and post assessment).

Participate in weekly
discussion board.
Course 2: All Students Can Succeed: Requirements
Participants will:
-
Complete Essential
readings/videos
-
Complete a two-page paper
on how they will integrate into their curriculum
one strategy per chapter

Participate in weekly
discussion board
CEU credit
3.6 CEU credit hours (36 hours) for above
work.
College Credit
For 4 quarter hours:
-
Complete all Essential and
Recommended topics within each chapter
(including pre and post assessment).

Complete a Unit of
Instruction (Template provided).

Participate in weekly
discussion board.
