College Tech Prep programs are implemented under the
Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education
Act, known as the Perkins program. Programs equip
students with the knowledge to advance to
postsecondary education or pursue other
postsecondary opportunities. This federal
legislation supports high school and college
linkages in educational programs related to high
growth technologies.
