Mission & Goals
Ohio College Tech Prep
Mission
We will prepare students for the high skill, high
demand technical careers required for an
increasingly competitive global economy. We will
emphasize math, science and technology for Ohio
economic development.
Goals
-
Increase academic rigor of career tech programs
to prepare students for college.

Increase student transition to college.

Implement strategies to help urban and rural
youth succeed in college and attain high skill,
high demand careers.

Increase student preparation for STEM careers
(engineering, IT, math, medical, science)
required for Ohio’s economic development.

Increase college completion rates.
