Pathways Lead to College & Career  

• All Ohio College Tech Prep pathways develop technical and academic skills required by the high skill, high wage workplace. Job candidates with an associate degree can expect a significantly higher wage than that of non-degree candidates.
   

• Technical curricula for every College Tech Prep program or pathway are employer validated. Courses of study outline specific competencies required by the technical specialties. Business, high school and college educators collaborate to deliver curricula.
   

• Local programs revise the curricula to meet local needs. Each consortium convenes its partners to refine pathways, identify resources and define articulation agreements.
   

• Tech Prep Articulation agreements often provide college credit opportunities during the high school component of the pathway.
