Accountability

Tech Prep is one component of Ohio’s Career Tech Accountability System. To assess program effectiveness and optimize investment of state and federal funds, the CTE accountability system measures performance of indicators that align with the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 (Perkins IV). Yearly performance targets are set for all adult education, secondary CTE, and Tech Prep entities receiving Perkins’s funding which can affect funding levels.
